| I found this kit ideal for the job I needed. I had tried the repair with glue I bought that said it would do the job and the repair lasted a week. I think this kit containing the blade which aids proper cleaning of the surface was just great and saved me giving in to the wifes request for a new oven/cooker/KITCHEN!! |

| Glass on our oven door became unstuck and aloud heat to escape, after surching ebay we found this supplier with what sounded just like what we needed - I was skeptical but thought its worth a try - Glad we did the kit was delivered in 2 days and I applied it staight away. The next day it was as if the glass add never fallen out and it was like brand new (better in fact), kit was easy to use and came with really good instructions and everything needed to do the job. thank you very much - I highly recomend this supplier - they give first class service all the way.... and cheaper than a repair man.... |

| This kit is FAB.......we used it october 2010 and have not had to use it since because it was such a good fix......i would recommend it to anyone and everyone. One tip though if you use it on an oven rubber shut the door and leave it for 24hours will give 5 Stars |

| ovendoorglue: The adhesive cures to form a material with high elasticity (an essential property for the oven door repairs where glass and metal will expand when heated) and, added to its high temperature characteristics, provides an excellent repair for oven door gaskets and seals. We have had many customers use the kit to repair dangling or split oven door seals and rubbers. We would recommend that the seal is held in place with masking tape at intervals, across the seal, whilst the adhesive cures, rather than closing the door to hold it in place – unless you are certain that no adhesive can get onto the opposite face, otherwise you might find your door glued shut! |

| The plastic(?) on our oven door had become separated on one side from the rest of the door, making opening the oven a rather tricky task (you had to pull one side of the handle while pushing the other side to open the oven door). The glue worked very well to re-glue the plastic to the metal of the door - we don't have this issue with the door anymore. Excellent product! |

| ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page advice page, and have now added the option of purchasing an extra tube of adhesive at the same time as the kit for only £3.00 (use the drop down box on the item page to make your selection). You are welcome to purchase the extra tube on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis. That way we can help you be sure to get the job done, without the risk of unnecessary cost. |
